MysticBlu is a captivating soulful singer,songwriter,poet and musician who expresses her life journey through songs and poetry. With her smooth vocals, she melts listeners hearts with every melody sung. With each word spoken, she captivates her audience with her truth. MysticBlu's desire is to uplift, heal and inspire all with her music and poetry. She began her musical journey at the age of 3 when she started singing in church choirs. By the age of 9 she wrote her 1st poem, and by the age of 12 her 1st song was written. By the time MysticBlu was in 8th grade she already taught herself piano and was writing more and more songs. MysticBlu continued her journey by enrolling and attending Howard University in Washington, DC. She was introduced and begin to fall in love with Jazz and reggae music. MysticBlu finished her college training at McNally Smith School of Music in her home town of Minneapolis, MN, and earned her degree in Vocal performance. After graduating, MysticBlu performed all around the twin cities with a reggae and live hip-hop band. By this time MysticBlu wanted to expand her writing, so she taught herself acoustic guitar and today you can see her play shows with her blue acoustic guitar! In 2004 MysticBlu decided to take another journey and moved from Minneapolis, Mn to Phoenix, AZ. Here in Phooenix, AZ you can see MysticBlu perform all around the valley and surrounding areas! MysticBlu has had the wonderful opportunity to open for such as as: The Black Eyed Peas, Krs-One, Bilal, Lupe Fiasco and many many more. She is so humble and feels she is a vessel for spirit to get the message of inspiration across. Her life experiences has happened for a reason and she is not afraid to reveal them through her music so others can relate, be healed, uplifted and change.
