Visual Art – Indianapolis
Each cycle holds a new story. The mundane aspects of daily life formulate a narrative of growth and decay, creating a framework of how we perceive our reality.
Steph Renner is an Indianapolis based designer and printmaker by trade. She combines sewing, screenprinting, and design to handcraft artwork, printed garments, and accessories. She is also the drummer of the Indie-Rock band Hex Mundi. Her current series, “Let’s Take Care of Each Other”, features recent line-based drawings, first collaged, and then screenprinted on linen with water-based ink.
Inspired by the unseen energetic aspects of reality, she utilizes imagery to induce an intuitive state of mind, which becomes a tool to perceive existence in new ways. The hope is that this will lead to a celebration of not only the individuality of our own existence, but also the connectivity of all living things.
