Artist Susan Molina, but most know her as Susie Cue, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Where she grew up in Highland Park raised by both of her parents who taught her to have good morals, self respect, and consideration for others, and have encouraged her to pursue her art and makeup for the past 11 years. She has always been interested in everything that involves creativity since the age of 5. In 2000, she started off by painting all of her walls in her room, setting up boutiques out of her house selling various items that she had painted and aside from painting she had always been into makeup as well, doing makeup for Halloween, weddings, proms and various special occasions. Over the past 11 years Susan has evolved as a artist but didn't get involved into the art scene till the death of one of her best friends, Thomas Franklin. When first starting out it was hard for her to fully get into becoming a artist and putting herself out there in the art scene because she was dealing with her own insecurities and personal issues. But it wasn't till a conversation she had with her friend Thomas a week before he died, that they spoke about goals and what they wanted to achieve made her not only want to better herself, but continue to pursue the goals that she had spoken to him about. And she has been doing it since then, showcasing her work in shows, events, and collaborating with other artist. Her style of art consists the use of a lot color, which is why she uses the name My Vivid Dream as a whole to represent everything that she does artistically. The use of bright colors and adding a bit of black and white thrown in is what she uses to make everything stand out and catch people's attention when it comes to her paintings and makeup. With plans to continues to pursue things that require her to use her creativity, grow as a artist and improve her drawing and makeup artistry. Susan is currently going to school at Los Angeles Trade Tech for Sign Graphics and will continue in Auto Graphics for pin-striping and airbrushing. She says,"I eventually want to get better at everything I get involved in and everything I already know how to do well." She wants to get more involved in events to showcase her art and makeup, which will hopefully will lead to more opportunities as a artist and working with other people. " She hopes to meet other artist who she can gain knowledge from being a artist, ask for advice, get inspired, and who will be a positive influence. Susan explains to us, "I try to stay positive and motivated, surround myself with good people, and keep striving to become a better artist with plans of one day owning my own business. I'm looking forward to all good things to come my way..."
