Visual Art – Salt Lake City
I utilize art as a means of escape from stagnancy. The images that I create are
always moving, reacting, ending, and restarting uniquely with each passing moment.
I am fascinated by the temporality of our human bodies and how our appearance is
both ever-changing and never quite the way it is captured in our mirror reflections
or digital records. In making artwork regarding the disparity between the rapidness
of my mental expectations and the restrictions of my physical form, it acts as a
constant visual analysis of itself. Each piece picks apart the fleetingness of its own
representation and moves forward regardless.
