My name is Nadira Eva Akter and I am 23 years old. I recently just graduated from Temple University. I have been drawing since I could remember being a little girl. I continued to take classes through my high school career but did not throughout my college years. My art teachers in high school really pushed me to experiment with everything and I found myself putting more effort into my work than anything else. Art has always been a part of my life and it is something that I do not want to ever give up no matter where I am in the future. My collection involves almost every type of media, ink, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and even just sharpies from CVS. However, paint is something that I have been trying to add my collection more. I would say that my style is more of abstract. I really do not plan my ideas before getting stared. Once I start making marks on a blank sheet, I just develop my ideas as I keep going. I think my work is different and it’s something that others enjoy seeing.
