I moved to Arkansas. I had most of my changes there. High school, college, playing in bands, going to shows every weekend, swimming holes in July, shooting BB guns & 22s, ticks, tobacco, trailers, the Arkansas river, fishing for small mouth, driving my first car down the strip, hanging out on someone’s uncle’s land, working in a machine shop crafting aluminum parts of cars that sounded made up, watching bats by the light of the street lamps in the summer… Tennessee after 10 years. Attended graduate school for Recording Arts & Technologies. Decided to stay in the area…Didn’t pick up a camera until August 2014. My sister sent me a serendipitous DSLR in the mail. It instantly became the new art / obsession / craft for me for me to develop. I’ve been writing in light ever since...
