Accessories – Orange County

Wow, where do I begin? I’ve been sketching, painting, and crafting since I can remember… I\'ve been selling my art since (waaaay) back in junior high while helping my parents sell their jewelry at shows and pow-wows all over the US. My parent’s quest for experience, travel, culture, and the love of the rugged outdoors has enabled this sense of incessant curiosity that runs in my veins through by New Mexican/Dutch Indonesian ancestors (the simplified version) and I am always on the hunt to learn more. While my childhood friends spent weekends and summers at slumber parties and hanging out, I spent them on the American highway listening to country, swing, and jazz. While gaining all that fun-loving, retail and sweat of the brow experience, I made dream catchers and painted ornaments while customers shopped. It was exhilarating having people buy my goods right off my hands. The fun just continued as I got older and I have found that I just cannot seem to keep still! My living room, kitchen table, and garage are my studio. Sometimes I look around the house and think, “Geeze, where do I fit in here??” But I suppose the sprawling studio IS me :) It’s been a while since I’ve been out on the old highway and I miss the open road, and the freedom and fresh air it allows. Sitting behind this computer just doesn’t cut the mustard, but this is the way of the world today…. or is it? I think I\'m going for a drive now...
