Tanya Jacobson-Smith

I have been involved in the arts since early childhood with my most recent passion being photography. I enjoy photographing the world around me...places, objects, architecture,nature and people...and find/sharing the beauty i find in everything. I have married for 36 years, have one son and one grandson. I live in a woodland cabin in the NE Georgia mountains and have recently retired from the restaurant industry. As an animal lover I actively support and volunteer at a local no-kill animal shelter. As a lover of children and young people and good food and nutrition, I serve on the Leadership team for a Farm to School program that is a pilot program for the State of Georgia. I have exhibited in several local galleries and most recently had work accepted/showcased in a couple of exhibits in Denver CO in April/May 2013 for their \'Month Of Photography\'. I am also a member of The Sketchbook Project http://www.sketchbookproject.com/ and my Sketchbook will be going on the California tour this year.
