Well, a short bio eh? Of course at birth I had to deal with bright lights for the first time. I started taking pictures for the year book and bugged the two pretty English exchange students for the whole year. I did some theatre also, and a lot of theatre in college and professionally for about thirty years with time thrown in to make money. During my career as a lighting designer, the nature of light fascinated me. There it was in all its brilliance or dimness, white or blue or red or amber, I could walk in it, see the dancers, but I could not take it home with me. I could feel the heat that came with it. I could shine it into a box and quick close the lid, but it was gone! A memory. But my memory does not show you anything, So now I show the world, the electronic simulation of the photon stimulation I have experienced. But first I had to find form. Fortunately nature has been very good to us! My wife Lynn has been a great support often propelling me on. I’ve been working big box retail for quite a while. But, until I restarted my photography, there was just something missing in life. Now my sister has inspired me with jewelry. Jewelry gives us line, form, and texture. Coming from volcanoes, or sea beds or mountains there is an amazing assortment of stones and gems.
