Hello, my name is Vanessa Cabrillas & I graduated from the world renowned photography school Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Ca. during the summer of 2010. As a student I had a great pleasure and experience interning for Slickforce Studio and the amazing Asian/Asian American pop culture magazine Giant Robot in LA. Going into a photography school was the risk I made after I graduated from high school because I honestly did not know what I wanted to pursue. I've always been fascinated with art since I was a child, but I couldn't draw or paint so I was actually on the path of becoming a graphics designer. It wasn't until one of my close friends introduced me to photography that I found the medium to express my creativity. During my three years, I flourished in my creativity and technical skills as well as a mind for business. I found my niche in shooting fashion, portrait and food because I LOVE style, people & food!!
