My Vision..
Take what you will and think what you must is the way I perceive my art. My goal is to create ambiguous and meaningful visual images that evokes thought, feeling, as well as curiosity. I love to create story, colors, textures, shapes, and lines that stir the mind and conjure up feeling. Human emotion is my prime goal, to capture it is pure magic. Photography is my outlet in creating and capturing such moments. Without emotion and story a picture is just a picture. I want to create something more then that, something different and out of the ordinary. To push the limits and boundaries in creating something beautiful or fearful, something dark or light. What ever it may be I promise you wont be disappointed! Thank you for visiting my page and hope to hear from you soon.
Just a little about me...
Now that we got all these formalities out of the way lol I am a very fun and easygoing person. I guarantee you will have a blast at every shoot we do. I will give you all the direction you will need so if you are a fist timer dont worry! As well as for other photographers, I am very open in sharing my techniques and "secrets". I prefer to do it one on one so if you would like to join me at one of my galleries feel free to message me. Everything I have learned has been passed down to me one way or another so no reason it should stop at me. I am a very social person, I love to socialize and get know individuals that have the same passion for art as me . Enjoy my photos and would love to hear from you all soon. Have a great day!
- Steven Segura
About:
Steven Segura, a published photographer, was born in Bogata Colombia June 5 1987. He moved to Utah with his family when he was 4 years old. He later moved to Arizona during his 3rd grade school year. Steven always had a passion for creativity even at an early age, earning creativity certificates and elementary school art shows. During his High School and college years he met a friend who showed him a path into film. It started as playing an extra in a few feature films than grew to a passion for cinematography, directing and creating his story through film. He attended Collins College in Phoenix earring his associates in Film Production. While attending school he had the privilege of meeting several established photographers who mentored him. Learning the many different techniques through these artists helped his photography evolve into the artistry he wanted to portray. Which was a spectrum of moody and dark to bright and refreshing with each photo is meant to tell a story, a story left to interpret from the viewer themselves.
