My name is Sanam Khaliqi and I am a portrait photographer in the D.C, MD, VA area. I studied four years at The Art Institute of Washington for my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photographic Imaging. I mainly focus on people portraits but also do product, lifestyle and events. When I take portrait shots, I like to capture uniqueness or individuality. I get my inspiration from other artists, people and everything around me. Photography is not just a hobby for me. I love what I do because it is truly a part of me. I capture life through my eyes, my perspective and I hope that people can appreciate what I see.
