ART: Ariela Ventura

Written by

Growing up in California, I experienced the beautiful mixture of polar opposite environments. As a child I was handed the ideal life in one hand and reality on the other. With time my story revealed itself, the brush became my voice, the paint became my words and the crowds have become my purpose. I paint a world that only I can see in hopes of inspiring, motivating and awakening individuals in society. I believe we walk around as if were so different but reality is we all have more in common then we can imagine. At the end of the day there are individuals seeking peace, struggling parents working to bring the daily bread, whether it’s the rich or the poor the struggles exists. To some they are internal and to others they are external.

Each of my paintings has a message; I paint as a form as self-expression and with the purpose of impacting the world around me. I am an emotion triggered artist. Therefore more emotions, more paintings. All my paintings start as a simple abstract. As I get deeper into my abstract background I start to bring out images I see within the splatters of paint. I am influenced by Gods phenomenal works that surround us in our everyday life. I find the greatest satisfaction in what I do by knowing I have touched someones life. As an artist I paint my soul and deliver hope to humanity in the midst of hardships or glory.
