RAW is starting 2010 off right. With our first showcases of the year in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Fullerton, and Long Beach, we've set the standard for great art events in months to follow.

At the very start of 2010, we hit the ground running, carrying with us great ideas for the new year and, more than anything, excitement for all of our new endeavors. We’re happy to say that February was a great first month for RAW. We’ve launched our new Web site and have put on some amazing showcases.
And there’s one thing that goes without saying, RAW is growing, all the while, still clinging passionately to its mission of bringing artists and art lovers together. And I must say, we’ve accomplished just that, whilst dismantling any stringent boundaries that would keep us from showcasing all sorts of art.
Take, “The Freshman” show at the V Lounge in Santa Monica. There, we were introduced to some really splendid musical talent. Connie Lim and the Forrest of Philosophy and Gorgeous Got a Gun stole the night with their hip-swaying tunes.

In Los Angeles at Elevate Lounge, the “Cross My Art” showcase we gave Daisy Viktoria the platform to lead a strikingly beautiful line of renaissance-inspired apparel down our runway. Here, Regina Wyatt was a success, selling one of her paintings.
Our “Flavor of Love” showcase at Cherch Lounge in Fullerton proved our eclectic spirit with comedian and musician Justin Rivera, who gave us some stomach-aching laughs with his hilarious set of magic tricks.
And we closed off February right with our first Long Beach showcase of the year on the stunning waterfall grotto at Hotel Maya, fully-outfitted with a nighttime view of Downtown Long Beach and the Queen Mary. With an across-the-board “Fantastical” show, RAW filled a room, wall-to-wall, with photographs and brought to the stage a whimsical crowd with singer/songwriter Miss Vinyl delivering a sexy performance and new-to-the-scene fashion designer Jami Larin wowing us all with an amazing collection of dresses. Here, Brad Parker sold one of his paintings!
And this was just February; we’re only getting started, folks. Be sure to be on the lookout for the upcoming showcases in your area!
