Visual Art – Canberra

There isn't much about my art that can't be discerned from my academics and character. I'm 19, and currently studying Law and Science at the ANU. The first 18 years of my life were split between Sydney and Hong Kong, so Canberra manages to feel novel. I'm inherently a city girl, so any opportunity to paint in silence has always been a preciously intimate reprieve. My studies are almost always at the forefront of my mind. Thus far, they've shaped the way I perceive and interpret subject matter. Living where I have has done the same in that I'm endlessly fascinated by social phenomena. As a result, I see beauty in logic and order-scientific processes and legal procedures-but also in the simple serendipity of day-to-day human interactions or the rare tidbit of nature
