NOMAglass

NOMAglass is the collaboration between father and son artists Bill and Michael Spiegelhalter. Our work centers around using glass recycled from old windows and wine and beer bottles, transforming them into distinctive jewelry and housewares that are simple, organic and elegant. Everything we make is individually hand-cut and shaped before being kiln-slumped, creating unique variations in each piece. --- Bill\'s works in tapestry, oil paintings, serigraphs and wall relief sculpture are in numerous private collections as well as in large scale commercial installations. --- Michael Spiegelhalter likes to reform objects into new and more exciting/less useful forms. He learned about elecricity while building an arc welder. his art is a mishmash of material science and an architectural aesthetic. Many of his creations are the result of some poorly planned mad-sciency idea.
