Personal Information:
I am from Charleston, South Carolina and have been a native of North Carolina since 1984. I have always had an interest in art. I started out drawing cars, then I began to fill notebooks with doodles. In 1998 I took my designs and expanded the concepts onto canvas. I create for my own pleasure and the joy it gives others. Art inspires me and it is always a great thing to have something you create inspire others.
I describe my work as abstract art meets 70\'s contemporary. Acrylic and mixed media are my mediums of choice. My work is an expression of my journey. It is bold, striking, vibrant, expressive, an thought provoking. I tend to paint on a larger scale than the typical canvas. I have been told that my bold contrasting colors, sharp geometric figures, and lines suggest forward progression.
