Visual Art – Omaha
As a graphic artist and illustrator, I use both impulse and instinct to inform my work. Trying to convey different aspects of consciousness usually results in a meditative feel found throughout my art.
A large amount of my artistic growth is due to improvised design, which I began heavily exploring with micron ink pens on paper. I find undiscovered imagery and new visual possibilities to be the most intriguing and rewarding aspects of improvisation. Currently, my designs are evolving onto larger formats using various painting techniques, ink applications, lithography stones, and digital creation methods. With my work continuing to grow more complex, I aim to achieve even higher levels of cohesiveness and accuracy with every piece.
