Paige Beltowski

Fashion – Kansas City

Paige Beltowski is in her final semester of pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber at the Kansas City Art Institute. In 2014, she traveled to London to study Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins. Beltowski has participated in several fashion shows in the Kansas City area, such as Urban Gold and the West 18th Fashion Show. She has worked on costumes for many films and music videos including “Lost Boys and Girls Club” (directed by Cody Critcheloe), “Kick Me” (directed by Gary Huggins) and “Rise Again” (directed by Kenneth Harrison). Having studied in both fine arts and fashion, her work often reflects a balance between the two. Much of the influence in her work stems from both a practice of self-examination and the influence of the environment in which she is working. The reflections of the landscapes and people that surround her weave the narrative that inspires garment collections, installations, character development, sculptures and textile designs.
