Phong Nguyen is a first generation born Asian American Artist that resides in Minneapolis, MN. His work consists of murals, illustrations, paintings, and live painting at events. His imagery reveals an ambigious narrative that relate to the human condition and its relationship to the different multi-layered infrastructures that make societies function. Ph3visuals family lineage is cleverly masked throughout his recent work through the use of subliminal symbols that connect to his lineage of being raised by political refugee parents, who immigrated from Vietnam to the United States to start a new life in a foreign land far away from the place they call home.
