Well, to entertain the obvious, yes i am an artist...Or at the very least, i pretend to be. I believe that an artist is someone who creates beauty from nothing. Quite open to interpretation indeed, so i prefer the term \"Visual Specialist\" with a primary focus in Printmaking, Mixed Media and Graffiti. For the last five years, I was creatively institutionalized at the Herron School of Art and Design, but i got out last year with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Printmaking. Truly, as a reformed practitioner. It was all official, sealed, stamped and delivered- I still have the paper that proves it too. I did my time, it was hard, sure... and at times i did have to compromise my creative integrity to the servitude of course curriculum. But now, with my new-found freedom i realize that i must try to forget what i had been taught and unlearn the systematic applications of art. i do not want to simply define my work in art, i want to redefine art in my work.
