With a gift certificate (it was a loooong time ago) my brother bought me for my birthday I bought my first camera, a Nikon FG-20. From that point on I was hooked. Years later I would take a job at a retail photography studio to forever jade me. I love portrait photography because most people dont like themselves in pictures, present company included, but seeing the look on their faces when you SHOW them they can look good is rewarding.
