Amy-Ellen has been interested in photography since she received her first copy of The National Geographic in the mail when she was 10 years old. Since then she has fueled her passion for photography with her first hand-me-down Minolta 35mm; a gift from her father and since then, various cameras and lenses have helped her to capture beautiful landscapes, macros, and her most-favored... the human portrait.
Amy is a mathematics teacher and Math Department Chair in Plano ISD. She started PhotographybyAmyEllen, her retail photography business, in June 2016.
