Visual Art – Philadelphia
Creating makes me come alive, plain and simple. I just have to do it. I've always had to create but until 10 years ago, I did not think I was an artist. I've learned from many artists throughout my life but it wasn't until I started doing mosaics that things clicked into place. And it's been evolving since. I started out with ceramic tiles, moved on to glass which let me do more intricate designs, then rocks (yes, rocks - I was a geologist in a former life) and now I am incorporating ceramic elements in to my mosaics, a ceramic-mosaic mash-up.
