Pippa Dodds

Photography – Melbourne

Bursting into a physical existence amongst the trees and birds on a remote property in Denmark on the south coast of Western Australia, Pippa quickly made friends with life. Shaped and moulded by the love and wisdom of two creative traveling parents, whose studies of Tibetan Buddhist philosophies would seep into her being and later play a large role in the flavouring of her mind as an adult. Despite the earthy quality of her upbringing, as soon as independence was possible Pippa sprung out on her own into the world, hungry for experience and growth. After embarking on a number adventures to various foreign lands, at the age of 26 Pippa is now in the final stages of completing a degree in commercial photography at RMIT in the diverse and wondrous land of Melbourne, Australia. Through out this process she has fallen deeply in love with the human phenomena of dance and continues to explore it physically and photographically across countries and cultures alike. Her passion for making images is equaled by her passion for life, growth and discovery and she continues to explore all its facets with eager curiosity and wonderment. Through her images Pippa seeks not only to share the beauty she sees in her experience of the world, but also uses them as a means to share the explorations she has embarked on in her experience as a human.
