Polly Elizabeth "Pie"

I am a 2004 graduate of Madison East High School. After graduation I moved to New York City and studied communication design at The Fashion Institute of Technology and later changed my major to fashion design. I graduated with an Associates Degree in spring of 2008. Since then I’ve moved back to Madison to take a break from fashion and focus on my other passion, ceramics. I studied ceramics for the first time in my senior year of high school and then on and off at MATC throughout the years. I also enjoy photography and watercolor painting, which I have taken a few courses in as well. All of my work has a certain dream-like quality. I find that my most peaceful state of mind is when I’m in reverie... where my imagination can travel without boundaries or conflict. Through various mediums, I try to bring my imagination to life and share it with the world around me.
