Clean Hands Make Clean Prints! Visually, my goal is to create images that are compositionally confident, yet delicately meaningful. I have explored many mediums, and will probably continue to explore them, but I always come back to printmaking. The appeal of printmaking for me origin as the foundation of graphic design and its ability to be spontaneous and highly technical. I love making multiples; I like the idea that many people can own and share my work. By printing multiple layers, a lush and complex surface is created. One element peeks around another, or dissolves into the next. I also love the process of printing an edition - a slow, repeated ritual with its own choreography. I find it rewarding to create something unique on a blank sheet where nothing existed before. It is always full of surprises as a combination of techniques can produce endless results.
