Aneisha Malcolm

Film – Boston

Aneisha’s interest in film began with working at Boston’s Artists For Humanity (AFH) in 2006, a non-profit organization dedicated to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing under-resourced youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts. While working there, she was able to make tremendous contributions to her community such as making video documentaries to raise awareness about global warming and the environment. In 2009, she attended the Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she received her BFA degree in Film/Video. Upon attending, she served as the cofounder of a culture and style blog called SoOAmbitious.com, which showcased local artistic talents around the city of Boston. Creating exclusive interviews with designers, brands, artists and musicians, as well as behind the scenes coverage of local events and showcase to be posted on the blog. With a number of videos she has shot and edited, Aneisha has been able to become an up- and-coming leader of the next generation of directors, with freelance work done for various companies such as Google, WGBH, Krush and Karmaloop TV.
