Purusa was founded in early 2012 in Kansas City, Missouri by Jeremy Crow, Brett Frischer and Shamus Quinly.
Purusa connected through their shared passion of music and love for digital sound manipulation. The group creates each track organically without presets or audio loops. Spending the time to shape each synth and beat. Piecing together dance floor rhythms and playful melodies with mind-bending audio edits, to create a musical experience that will please a variety of desires. Live shows are an unpredictable adventure through the mysterious, the micro, the macro and everything in between, explored through multi-genre music that leaves no tempo behind.
