Visual Art – Los Angeles

Adam Radick, originally from Chicago, Illinois, is an artist, painter, muralist, actor, comedian who currently resides in Hollywood, California. Since his early childhood, he had a vision and a passion for the arts — particularly drawing. In school Adam always enjoyed creating art whether it was a class assignment, for a contest, exhibition, or just for fun simply because he enjoyed it. His mother a draftsman/teacher/ceramic studio director and his father an electrical mechanic/musician/entertainer. Both artisans who promoted the arts for their children. As a teen Adam excelled at all forms of art from drawing and painting to music and the performing arts. Gallery 37, a center for the arts located in downtown Chicago, was an organization that recognized Adam Radick for his gift to paint murals and showcased his work every summer and from 1998 to 2001 his work was sold at Gallery 37’s annual Closing ceremony. He was commissioned to paint murals on park benches, furniture, walls, canvasses and even CTA buses — one of his pieces was a park bench displayed at The Terra Museum of American Art. In 2001 Adam Radick graduated from Marist High School receiving a medal for his exceptional contributions as the best artist among his gradualting class. After high school Adam continued his education and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in Entrepreneurship. He then decided to pursue an acting career and studied at The Green Room Actor\'s Studio. Subsequently he moved to Hollywood, California. Adam continues to pursue acting and concurrently enjoys painting murals on a larger scale. After taking a 10 year hiatus from painting, he has rekindled his passion for the arts being exposed to LA’s street art. In 2013 Adam Radick was a RAW visual arts nominee for artist of the year and a semi-finalist for best artist in Hollywood. As he continues to grow and distinguish his voice among fellow artists he plans to make an inspirational impact in the art world.
