Raquel Seresheff

Raquel is a local artist, born and raised on the Gold Coast. She has loved art for as long as she can remember whether it be drawing, painting, or even building furniture. A mostly self taught artist, Raquel undertook an art fundamentals class in 2010, which she enjoyed immensely and it inspired her to continue on her creative journey. She has recently become a first time mum to a beautiful baby boy and is looking forward to seeing how he will influence and inspire her creative work. Although Raquel's art has mainly involved working with acrylic paint and pencil, she is excited to experiment with other mediums and techniques including more work with oil paints and pastels, resin and even venturing into sculpture. Her current pieces include mixed media acrylic paint and pencil on MDF board, charcoal and graphite sketches.
