When people ask me about art, or about learning how to draw, all I say is that its not just learning how to draw. It’s about learning how to see the world from a different point of view. It’s the understanding of the process of which something was made that makes it art. Everything doesn’t have to have a purpose or use. Something can just be. I am a Bay area artist specializing in Abstract Realism and Design. I previously studied art at the California College of the Arts, City College of San Mateo, and graduated from San Francisco City College. I use mixed media as well as traditional academic techniques to look at our world in its ideal state from a single moment in time. From there I study the process of how feelings toward that image being created come from ones previous memory of that moment.
