Rebecca Prince

I am an Adelaide Hills based artist who has exhibited mixed media paintings and drawings since 2011. I have always loved the process of mark making and first began creating from the age of 7 at Ruth Tuck Art School. After school I travelled overseas before studying at the Adelaide College of the Arts and then travelling once again. My work explores concepts regarding gender, identity and the importance of place and is largely informed by my travel experiences. These inspirations often culminate in mixed media layered gestural works depicting abstract landscapes or the female form, both represent an internal view of how I see the world and myself in it.
