Cedric Chambers

Visual Art – Denver

Art is about creating a memorable experience. The medium the form, the aesthetic, are all secondary. What matters is the viewer, and their relationship to the work. When you view my work I hope it remains memorable in your mind. I am a surrealist painter whom admires East-Eurpoean painters and philosophers. Ethnically I am Ayamara. My primary medium is oil paints. My father gave me the name Cedric so I would not have to pick a pseudonym. I am currently represented by “La Chitagaleria De Tu Novia Abuela” located in La Paz, Bolivia; and the “Denver Art Society”. When I decided to be a professional figure painter, I handed out my entire body of work for free. I gave away roughly 100 originals, paintings and drawings; as a symbol of my renewal process. I believe art should be for the everyday person. No one should need a degree to understand it, or feel it.
