Reggie Mosby Jr.

Visual Art – Seattle

I\'ve been drawing since I was three. My mother gave me a pencil and I never looked back. In elementary school, I drew Mickey Mouse and friends all the time. I was (and still am) in love with the animated Disney movies. Disney has a unique ability to give realistic life and movement to their animated characters. I now share the love of Disney with my wife, Lydia, and my children, Amira, ReggieIII, and Sophia. Once I got into middle school, the famous gaming company Capcom became a major artistic influence on me. I was specifically inspired by Bengus, the production artist for the Street Fighter Alpha Series and Marvel vs. Capcom series. From the inspirational of both Disney and Capcom, I came into my own style, a combination of anime and contemporary street-style with classic undertones. It\'s important to me to show art with people of color. I love showing them in genres like fantasy, science-fiction, and action/adventure. I believe that the diversity I bring is what makes me unique. Above all, it\'s my desire that my art resonates with people of all cltures. The art is universal.
