Visual Art – Richmond

LaShona began drawing at a young age. Her first drawing was a war scene and she has not stopped drawing since. As she matured and entered high school, her artistic skills developed and evolved into something that provided a hint to her future. In 2003, she attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. She graduated with her BA in Studio Art in 2007. LaShona is a wife and mother of 4 children, and though her schedule is tight, she still finds time to complete artworks for clients. LaShona has been featured in three art shows: RAW Tulsa MARVEL in Oklahoma, April 2012, Roxbury Open Studios in Massachusetts, October 7, 2013, And also RAW Richmond SCOPE,September 25, 2014. January 2016, one of LaShona's abstract paintings called "Perfect Imperfections" was donated to "Changing Tracks Initiative" which "is a community diversion program that seeks to significantly improve the life chances of youth of color in Boston affected by the juvenile justice system."
