Resin on the Hill

Visual Art – Perth

Coming from quite an artistic family I have always been intrigued by artistic creativity and all things just slightly different from the norm. I have played music, mainly violin, most of my life and have enjoyed other art forms such as drawing (in a doodling type of fashion) and mosaics. I have also recently learnt the ancient Turkish art form Ebru art which I am excited about exploring further. Then came the day that I discovered resin art. Well I was hooked! Went to Melbourne to spend time learning from the artist Judy Waters who gave me great instruction and a good start to the resin art world. I find resin art amazingly beautiful and feel it expresses the full beauty of colour so elegantly and sometimes very dramatically. All my pieces are about reaching the ultimate enhancement of each colour and the different combinations. This free-flowing artform is food for the soul!
