Celestin has spent most of her life working in the arts. After receiving a degree in Anthropology with a minor in Visual Art from The University of Southwestern Louisiana, she went on to work in non-profit arts administration, where she built up a diverse skill-set, learning everything from marketing, graphic and web design to event planning and fund-raising. Throughout her tenure as an arts administrator, she continued to design, paint and create. After nearly a decade with the Acadiana Arts Council, Celestin decided to hone in on her talents as a web/graphics designer and opened NOLA Design Studio, a boutique web, graphics and Internet marketing firm. NOLA Design Studio helped her develop both her business and artistic sides, and while building a solid client base, she began to have more free time to develop other creative pursuits, such as ReStrung™ Jewelry. Her vision is to pursue and develop her creative talents through ReStrung™ and give back to our cultural economy by continuing to forge partnerships with area non-profits that support and promote Louisiana\'s treasures - our artists and musicians.
