Reyna Art & Design

Visual Art – Boston

Born in Massachusetts and raised on the seacoast of New Hampshire, Jessie Reyna followed her passion for art and studied at the University of New Hampshire. She began as a studio art major but was finding herself in a creative rut and unable to enjoy her artwork like she used to. For fear of losing her creativity, she switched her major to art history and studied abroad in London in 2011 to dip her toes into modern and pop art. For two years, she played with bright acrylic colors to depict an unnatural palette in landscapes in order to break the norms and "rules" that have been taught throughout her schooling. She recently pulled out her first love - soft pastels. Since then, she has been working on a series of still-life drawings using soft pastels and charcoal. She has been featured in Spry Lit , Average Art Magazine, and the September 2018 issue of House & Garden UK.
