Visual Art – Melbourne

I am a student currently studying at Monash University, undergoing a double degree of Arts and Fine Arts. I am an enthusiastic aspiring creative artist, with a driving passion for visual art and the expansive field of painting. I believe that environmental, social, religious and political issues enveloping the global community are areas I target in my artwork. I develop my work on accounts of the nature of my study, that is, if change is inevitable and the issue or subject is dynamic my work reflects those trajectories. I paint and create installations, photography, sculpture and drawings based on how I view the world, with insight, not how it is portrayed. I soulfully believe that art and visual communication have allowed me to express emotions and ideologies that have otherwise been restrained by social stigma and non-negotiable canons. In addition, I am fervently passionate about fitness, particularly rowing, and volunteer work within my church community and wider community, including The Red Cross. I am a self-proclaimed animal lover, and consistently taking part in active work to fight for human rights locally and globally. I believe that the future of humanity rests in the work of its people not the government.
