I am an Eastern North Carolina native and 2012 graduate of North Carolina State University. Although I have a Bachelor of Science in Textile Technology with a concentration in textile design, upon graduating I decided to focus on a different medium.
When I was nine, I would wake up extra early on Saturday mornings. No, not to watch cartoons. I thought it would be a great idea to sell my handmade jewelry to yard sale shoppers in the neighborhood. Over a decade and design degree later, I am still doing what I love with faith that a successful business will prevail. My start-up business, RIADA by Adair, LLC features sensitive skin friendly, environmentally conscious, handmade jewelry and gifts.
The first phase vision of my company is to offer a user friendly, online boutique for women and men. The boutique provides a showcase of unique, quality, handmade pieces.
