Robert Handler

Visual Art – Baltimore

Originally from New York City, but living in Baltimore since the mid-60\'s, Robert can\'t seem to get New York City out of his mind, at least his artistic one. He spends late nights in his art studio, visions of skyscrapers, tenement buildings and architectural nuggets dancing in his head. Robert transforms these visions and creates 3-dimensional, impressionistic/liberal interpretations of NYC cityscapes. Some have called his work architectural art. Approaching 70 years old, Robert swears he is going to pursue art full-time! Having the company of Bob Dylan and other luminary singer-songwriters keeping him company! The art of Robert Handler ventures outside of the 5 Boroughs ; his take on the cityscapes of Montreal, San Diego, Vancouver, and of course, his hometown of Baltimore are equally impressive. Impressionistic classical doors and arches also feature prominently in Robert Handler\'s portfolio.
