Photography – Seattle

I am a self-taught photographer. A short 17 years ago I picked up an old German camera and developed my first film. I was instantly won over by the magic and unbearable ease with which photography can convey feelings, thoughts, and mood. Since then I have not parted with the camera. The camera has become my friend, my instrument, and my mediator in communicating with the beauty of the world around me. In my work I try to identify what we may not see or pay attention to in everyday life – moments, gestures, relationships between objects in space and time. In doing so, I try to adhere to the fine art format, so that the photo can be printed, placed in a frame, and hung on the wall to be better appreciated. I am compelled by people, and objects created by people. After all, photography itself was invented by man. That is why a person is often present in my photos. But I also like to photograph the absence of a person: they were here just a minute ago, or they are about to appear. The perfection of a female body takes a special place in my work as I am forever fascinated and inspired by a woman's beauty. I like to observe the state of nature – light, time of day, weather, changing seasons... All this is also present in my work. We all see the world in our own way. My photography is my way to see the world. Welcome to the world of my photography, friends. Enjoy
