Visual Art – Denver

Much of my personal work is an experiment in a process, find boundaries of the material be in brass, copper, bronze, steel or recycled metals and pushing those limits. I attempt to forge things that people can either recognize or relate too be it functional art or sculptural. I grew up in my father\'s blacksmith studio and have been forging since I was 8. After high school I attended an art school and majored in media arts. \"Media\" being mostly advertising and entertainment media. Though my degree was mostly 2d, I was able to flex some metal work in there. Doing well in the school I came back home and was made partner in the family blacksmithing. Most of my work happens at the anvil. http://isolatedreality.com
