Randi \'Obi\' Sylve - R.O.S. Artistry

R.O.S. Artistry Founder, Randi-Obi, is a mixed-media installation artist and Jewelry Designer from New Orleans, Louisiana that has created conceptual artwork with an interplay between masculinity and femininity. Like his installation artwork, his jewelry design is inspired by the unique culture of his hometown (New Orleans, Louisiana), but also by his living in Los Angeles, California and Atlanta, Georgia. Because of his varied cultural experiences, Randi-Obi enjoys mixing elements that evoke a sense of peace, strength, and sentimental character displayed in his uniquely unisex pieces. In his work you will see elements of beautifully crafted contradictions that include mixtures of bold metals, precious gems, semi-precious minerals, vintage Swarovski crystals, leather, wood, and stone. During the New Orleans Prospect 2 Arts Biennial (October 22, 2011 - January 29, 2012) Randi-Obi\'s artwork was displayed at the McKenna Museum of African-American Art. --- On Saturday, February 15, 2015, Randi-Obi was judged among other competing jewelry designers, and was hand-selected as the 2015 RAW New Orleans Accessories Designer of The Year!
