Music – Brisbane
The Roshambos are an interdependent pop outfit from Brisbane, Queensland, who have been turning musical heads for the past 12 months with their catchy song writing and eclectic vintage sound. Continually improving on their musicianship and their ever evolving live show, the band has played alongside the likes of Empire of the Sun, Little Red, Mental as Anything, Tin Can Radio, The Jungle Giants, Cub Scouts and many more, while also taking out the crowd choice award in an Original Selection competition last September, affording them the opportunity to play main stage at Caloundra Music Festival. Their tracks Same Taste and Shoot a Gun have been played on Triple J Unearthed Radio receiving handsome reviews by presenter Dave Ruby Howe, quoting Shoot a Gun ‘a recipe for shit hotness’, as well as amiable comments from Super User Al Newstead, requesting “more”, from this lively four piece.
Mr. Newstead’s wish is soon to be realized, as the band is currently in the process of recording their second EP to back up their debut, Ballyhoo EP which was released in February earlier this year. Keep watch this second semester in Brisbane\'s great music scene because The Roshambos have turned their heads towards Brisbane night goers and our hoping to have the night life, lift their eyelids at them.
