Visual Art – Austin

I grew up on the East Coast but having family on the West Coast gave me the unique experience of seeing the beauty and contrast in different cultures. I feel that is where I find most of my inspiration, in the places where contradictions meet. I thrive on the cusps of life, with one foot in and one foot out, balancing on the fences of extremes. My body of work encompasses the strength and fragility of the feminine goddess. The soft curves of being female outlined by the hard edges of passionate emotions. After studying animation for 3 years at the Art Institute of Austin, I acquired a sense of motion that allows me to create movement in static images. This is where I can usually be found; in a static state of constant motion.
