Visual Art – San Francisco

Name: Ryan Hanna Age: 31 Hometown: Long Beach, California Artistic Style: If it feels good do it. I took up art an early age and had been sketching and doodling my entire young life. In fact, art was possibly the only class i had in school, that was guaranteed an easy A for me (just ask my mother). During High School I had took up motorcycle riding, and determined to live out my dreams of becoming a professional Off-Road Motorcycle Racer, i lost track of Art. After 5 years of making my way up the ranks of the Off-Road world, I had sustained multiple major concussions in a very bad season. These compounding concussions resulted in a 6month loss of short-term memory. During my recovery, I turned to art. Though in my attempt, I was met by massive personal disappointment and discouragement, so I gave up art altogether. After hanging up my racing boots, I went into business working in the Oil and Power industry. Before I knew it, 10 years had gone by, and I had never picked art back up. In late December 2017 I picked up a paint brush, for the first time since Senior year of High School, and sat down to paint. Since that day Art has really overtaken my life. You are looking at the product of my latest journey back into the art word. So far, it's been a great ride.
