Sable Royal

Visual Art – Nashville

I started art as a child under the care of my mother who is also an artist. Completed my first portrait sketch at 12 years old and have been in love with creating faces ever since. I began working with my mother\'s art company, Royal Art Company in 2007, and am now co-owner. After high school I studied graphic communications at Belmont University and it only reinforced my pursuing of the fine arts. While attending Belmont, I received 2nd place in their end of the year art show and was commissioned by the William Morris Endeavor Agency to paint the \"Musica\" statue downtown that now resides in their office. Since Belmont I have created other commissioned pieces and also been a part of church conferences where I paint while their groups receive a sermon or worship. I love to work towards achieving each individual\'s personality. I am also known for using liquid metals and other mediums and incorporating them into my works. My work combines traditional style with modern settings and backgrounds. Not leaving the beauty of old world but introducing the excitement of modern culture and interest.
