FASHION DESIGNER Sakia Lekoundzou is a fashion designer born in Brazzaville, Congo. She has always had a huge passion for fashion which has been the drive for her journey. At 14, Sakia began this journey by moving to Paris, France to study fashion. Several projects later she was able to make the move to Casablanca, Morocco where she continued chasing her fashion dreams where she had the opportunity to participate in shows as both a model and designer. After Casablanca, Sakia made the move to Miami, FL. While in Miami, Sakia worked for Atomic Funk, a styling agency in South Beach. Sakia also put together her first solo show while in Miami. ‘Freak Show’ was an eclectic collection of pieces across the years that made up SAKIA LEK. Ever since she has participated in several shows all over the world from Dallas to Paris, Morocco, Switzerland and even her home country of Congo.
